BOWIE, Md. —Bruce Besancon, vice president of off-the-road sales for Yokohama Tire Corp., will be the keynote speaker at the 65th annual Tire Industry Association (TIA) Off-the-Road Tire Conference, to be held Feb. 19-21 at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, Calif.
Mr. Besancon's Feb. 21 speech is titled "Predicting the Future of OTR Tires by Looking at the Past and Present."
In addition to Mr. Besancon's speech, the conference will feature three half-day educational sessions, a half-day of breakout sessions and multiple networking opportunities throughout the week, TIA said.
On Feb. 19, the educational sessions will be "OTR Demount and Mount Training" and "Wheel Torque Guidelines." Feb. 20 will feature "U.S. Economic Forecast," "Canadian Economic Forecast for 2020" and an OTR tire end-users panel.
Besides Mr. Besancon's keynote speech, Feb. 21 will feature "Creating a Culture that Boosts Productivity and Profitability," "The Next Generation of the OTR Industry" and "Making a Difference," a motivational speech of how to positively influence people regardless of their position or status.
Mr. Besancon last addressed the OTR Tire Conference in 2017, when he was vice president of marketing for Alliance Tire Americas. He joined Yokohama later that same year.
Conference registration is required before reserving a room, TIA said. Once the registration payment has been processed, TIA will send registrants a link to hotel reservations.
