WAKEFIELD, Mass. — Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America Inc. (YOHTA) has named David Geraghty, currently global head of OE and assembly business, as president of YOHTA, effective July 25.

He succeeds Dhaval Nanavati, who has decided to leave the company after 11 years with the Yokohama/Alliance Tire Group.

"Throughout his time with the company, Dhaval aggressively grew sales and built strong relationships with customers and employees. I would like to thank him for his leadership, dedication and contributions over the years and wish him the best success in his future endeavors," YOHTA Chairman Nitin Mantri said.

"Given David's multifaceted background, entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering commitment to serve customers, he is uniquely positioned to assume this role."

Geraghty joined the company in August 2021, and has been instrumental in deepening the company's relationships with OEMs and starting its assembly business from the ground up, the company said.

Before joining Yokohama, he led the $3 billion OE business for Cummins Inc. and served as managing director of the company's North American distribution business, which generated over $4.3 billion in sales.

Geraghty will continue to be a member of YOHT executive committee.

YOHT is a division of Yokohama Rubber Co., specializing in agriculture, forestry, construction, industrial, material handling, earthmoving, mining, port and other commercial tires.
