SANTA ANA, Calif. — Yokohama Tire Corp. (YTC) has opened a consumer e-store featuring Yokohama-branded gear, including merchandise and apparel for men, women and children.
YTC is partnering with Tangerine Promotions, a Northbrook, Ill.-based custom product marketing company, on launching the e-store.
"The consumer demand for Yokohama-branded items continues to grow," Alan Holtschneider, Yokohama's director of marketing, said.
"That's why we're excited about the launch of the new e-store and the innovative promotional products that will appeal to both an automotive enthusiast audience and our loyal customers as well. The new and improved selection of products on the easy-to-use site has been entirely updated and is much wider than before, offering something for everyone."
The site's apparel section includes hoodies, jackets, T-shirts, windbreakers, polo shirts, fleeces and sweatpants. Merchandise include pens, decals, coolers, blankets, umbrellas, water bottles, masks, hats, backpacks, duffel bags and tools.
"We are excited about the opportunity to create branded merchandise that will help unleash the power in the Yokohama tire brand," Matt Whiteley, head of sales for Tangerine Promotions, said.
"Yokohama Tire has a loyal following of dedicated fans who are eager for merchandise that lives up to the Yokohama name, and we intend to reward them with apparel and merchandise that they can be proud of."
