LOS ANGELES — Apollo Tyre Ltd.'s Vredestein brand has landed at the world-famous Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.
As Apollo looks to increase the brand's presence in North America, Vredestein is collaborating with the Peterson Museum on its latest exhibit: "How We Roll: The Ever-Evolving Automobile Tire."
The exhibit, located on the third floor of the museum, honors 100 years of tire history. It will be on display until Sept. 1, 2024.
The exhibit tells the history of the passenger car tire, illustrated with artifacts representing a wide variety of manufacturers, including Vredestein. Other tires in the exhibit were manufactured by Michelin, Goodyear, Goodrich, Firestone and Pirelli, among others, and including several defunct brands such as Fisk, Swinehart, Lambert and Pennsylvania Vacuum Cup.
Apollo Vice Chairman and Managing Director Neeraj Kanwar was among a group of company executives who attended the official opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony.
