HOT SPRINGS, Va. — Mike Scaglione of Kempsville Auto in Virginia Beach, Va., was elected president and ST Billingsley of B&W Associates of Woodbridge, Va., was named vice president of the Virginia Automotive Association.
The group, which said it is the only professional membership association in Virginia representing and advocating on behalf of their industry, recently held its 2024 conference at the Homestead Resort in Hot Springs.
Members of VAA include independently owned retail businesses in the automotive industry, including tire stores, repair facilities, service stations (with bays), muffler and exhaust shops and collision centers.
The group said that most members' locations are family-owned businesses, and the automotive business they run is all they do.
