BURLINGTON, Vt. — VIP Tires & Service has opened a third store in Vermont, in Burlington, and is building a fourth, in Shelbourne.
The latest opening, a renovated collision repair center, increases the dealership's store count to 64 locations throughout New England.
The new store is located on Riverside Avenue about two miles northeast of downtown Burlington, a city of 42,000 in northwest Vermont on the shores of Lake Champlain.
VIP Executive Chairman John Quirk purchased the former All Star Collision Center facility in March 2020. The renovated 8,670-sq.-ft. space features eight service bays, onsite tire storage space for 2,000 tires, and a Hunter Engineering drive-through alignment quick-check system.
VIP said it focuses on reducing wait times, providing accessibility to an array of tire manufacturer brands and price points, and holding large tire inventories on site so customers can expect immediate tire installation after choosing their desired brand.
