IRWINDALE, Calif. — The California Tire Dealers Association hosted its final event of 2023 in December, gathering at Turbo Wholesale Tires in Irwindale.
Attendees got to see the renovated Turbo Wholesale headquarters space, while Tire Base representatives gave a presentation featuring its point of sale software platform.
"Giving our members the opportunity to network with other dealers is an important part of our mission," CTDA Executive Director Marc Connerly said. "Doing so at the holidays, when people like to unwind and take a break from the day-to-day responsibilities of running a business, is especially meaningful."
Turbo Wholesale Tires hosted the dinner, with support from 1-800EveryRim OEM Wheels and Tire Base. Federated Insurance sponsored a raffle for two high-end coolers filled with snacks and treats.
The first event of 2024 is the 11th annual CTDA/1-800EveryRim New Year Luncheon, which will be held Jan. 18 at Stevens Steak and Seafood House in Commerce, Calif.
The luncheon is free to tire dealers. This year, Tire Industry Association President Keith Jarman will appear, along with TIA CEO Dick Gust, SEMA CEO and President Steve Spagnola and CTDA President Chris Barry.
