MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — More than 300 dealers attended the annual Tire Wholesalers Dealer Conference, held in early March at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Hotel.
The one-day event featured former Chicago Bears linebacker and Pro Football Hall of Famer Mike Singletary as its keynote speaker. The event also included presentations from several tire makers, while highlighting Turbo Tire's proprietary brands, Lexani, Lionhart and Rolling Big Power (RBP).
Turbo's head of private brands, Paul Sepetjian, and vice president of strategic sourcing, Avo Kopalian, introduced the launch of a new Lexani Quattro Tempo line of passenger car tires.
The lineup will includes all-season tires, a high-mileage touring tire and an all-weather product. The tires will be available in beginning in the second quarter.
The program served as the official launch for the company's new associate dealer program, called Lexani Ignite, which was introduced to the market earlier this year. The program offers retailers earning and training opportunities when they purchase Turbo brands and is supported by Turbo and participating regional wholesalers.
Turbo Tire CEO Phillip Kane kicked off the event by reinforcing Turbo's commitment both to the independent tire dealer and to operating the company as a family business, calling it the company's "differentiating strategy."
