STOCKHOLM, Sweden — Trelleborg Wheel Systems (TWS) has upgraded its "My TWS Hub" business-to-business (B2B) online portal, designed to help dealers worldwide manage their tire stocks and streamline deliveries to customers in the agriculture, materials-handling and construction industries.

"At Trelleborg Wheel Systems, we are constantly looking for new ways to reach out to customers and help them run their operations more smoothly," Paolo Pompei, president of the Trelleborg A.B. subsidiary, said.

"We've been active in the e-commerce space for years and have learned a lot about our customers' needs and how they make purchase decisions along the way. Our new, updated My TWS Hub is the latest company innovation that allows dealers to respond more quickly to a fast-changing world."

My TWS Hub offers more intuitive search filters so dealers can select the right tire for their customers by brand, segment or keyword, Trelleborg said.

E-learning and news sections are intended to expand users' knowledge base of products and services available in the company portfolio, so dealers are more equipped to offer advanced technical support and personalized service to customers in their market, the company said.

Trelleborg said the portal helps dealers manage their inventory more effectively, seeing stock availability and delivery times and monitoring deliveries through the new order tracking feature.

In addition, customers worldwide can access additional features from e-learning and online technical support in 13 different languages.

Dealers will benefit from having a direct communication channel with local customer service representatives anytime, anywhere in the world with the portal expanded globally throughout the year, Trelleborg said.

Swedish rubber products company Trelleborg has agreed to sell TWS to Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. The deal, announced in March 2022, is still pending, but both companies have stated they expect the $2 billion deal to be closed by mid-2023.
