WESTLAKE, Ohio — TravelCenters of America Inc. will be offering all active-duty military, veterans and reservists a complimentary meal on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11 at participating quick service restaurants and at Country Pride and Iron Skillet locations nationwide.
Those who have served in the military need to show proof of service to their restaurant server prior to ordering, which includes U.S. Uniformed Services ID card; current leave and earnings statement (LES); veterans organization membership card; photograph in uniform; DD214 form; or a citation or commendation.
Barry Richards, president of TA, said the company is "honored to serve many active-duty and veteran military every day, and it's important to us that we recognize those who have fought for our freedom. Veterans Day is the perfect opportunity to give back and show our appreciation and respect to all who have served."
Guests may see Fallen Soldier Tables on display at Country Pride or Iron Skillet restaurants on Veterans Day. This single place setting at an empty table serves to remember and honor the sacrifices of those who gave their lives to protect freedom, according to TA.
