WESTLAKE, Ohio — TravelCenters of America (TA), operator of the TA, Petro Stopping Centers and TA Express travel centers network, is holding its annual Round Up campaign to benefit the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund (SCF).

From July 1 to Sept. 1, customers can choose to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar and donate the difference directly to SCF to help support truck drivers who have been out of work in the last year because of injury or illness.

"Providing support for the hardworking men and women who keep our country moving has always been a top priority for everyone at TA," TA CEO Jon Pertchik said.

"While TA can provide truckers with everything they need when they are on the road, it is the amazing team at SCF that helps them when they are sidelined and cannot be on the road."

TA has supported SCF since 2010, raising more than $3 million for the organization. The Round Up campaign is in its third year.

In addition to supporting out-of-work professional drivers, SCF also helps the driver community through initiatives such as tobacco cessation programs, health and wellness guidance and free vaccines.

"We are so grateful for the longstanding relationship with the team at TravelCenters of America and for all the support they have given us over the past 12 years," Shannon Currier, SCF director of philanthropy, said.

"Drivers both at home and on the road need our support and the support of our amazing partners and sponsors."

Westlake-based TA operates 276 locations in 44 states and Canada, principally under the TA, Petro Stopping Centers and TA Express brands; 45 of the sites are franchised.

The round-up promotion is not available in Alabama and South Carolina.
