CAMBRIDGE, Ontario — The Tire and Rubber Association of Canada (TRAC) is seeking nominations for its 2023 Industry Leadership Awards, which recognize outstanding individuals and companies for their dedication and commitment to excellence in the tire and rubber industry.
The awards, now in their second year, are designed to celebrate achievements and give individuals and organizations a platform to showcase their contribution to the industry, increase their professional profiles and stand out from the competition.
TRAC is accepting nominations until April 21 in four categories:
- Leader of the Year
- Young Leader
- Lifetime Achievement
- Sustainability
Nominees can include individuals engaged in end-of-life tire management businesses and other businesses focused on sustainability.
More details about the awards and categories, as well as the submission form, is available on TRAC's website.
Self-nominations are accepted. Corporate nominees must have a physical presence, such as an office or facility, in Canada while nominated individuals can live anywhere.
The awards ceremony will take place June 14 in conjunction with TRAC's annual general members meeting, being held in Mississauga, Ontario.
Last year, TRAC honored four industry veterans: Don Blythe, Don Campbell, Jim Henderson, and Glenn Maidment.
