CYPRESS, Calif. — Toyo Tire U.S.A. Inc. plans to recreate its "Treadpass" exhibit format from the past seven SEMA Shows this year as Treadpass 3D, a "virtual and immersive experience" with more than a dozen vehicles making their world debuts.

The virtual version will be available on smartphones, tablets and computers beginning Nov. 16 at toyotires.com. November's in-person SEMA Show in Las Vegas was moved online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The virtual SEMA360 will take place Nov. 2-6.

"We are excited to keep the tradition of the Toyo Tires Treadpass alive," Stan Chen, senior manager, events and sponsorships, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp., said.

"For the past seven years, Toyo Tires has been able to showcase some of the most unique, inspirational and exciting vehicles at the SEMA Show. We are thrilled to be able to bring a virtual experience with Toyo Tires Treadpass 3D to enthusiasts worldwide where they will be able to see and learn more about each display vehicle from the comfort and safety of their own home."

Toyo's virtual platform will offer photos and videos of each display vehicle, including a 360-degree view and specs highlighting the unique features.

All vehicles showcased in Treadpass 3D will be outfitted with Toyo tires, including the new Open Country A/T III, the Open Country M/T and the Proxes R888R competition tire.

The Treadpass 3D experince also will include the Leen Custom pins that Toyo has distributed in years past. For a chance to win a set of the pins, those interested are invited to sign up at the Toyo site to receive email notification when Treadpass 3D goes live.
