TireHub opens 7th D/C in Florida, in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — TireHub L.L.C. has opened a 40,000-sq.-ft. distribution center in West Palm Beach, a new market for the Goodyear-Bridgestone Americas Inc. distribution joint venture.

Prior to this opening, the West Palm Beach community was being serviced from Fort Lauderdale and Miami, Sylvia Wilks, vice president of operations, TireHub, said.

"Opening this location in West Palm Beach allows us to live up to our commitment of meeting the needs of local customers. Our 40,000-sq.-ft. facility ... positions us to meet customer needs with more frequent deliveries and by having the right tire at the right time."

The new center is TireHub's seventh D/C in Florida and 70th nationwide.

Last year TireHub relocated three TLCs in established markets, including Arlington and Houston, Texas and Sacramento, to support TireHub's growth and meet the needs of customers more effectively.

TireHub, launched in July 2018, offers passenger and light truck tires from the Goodyear and Bridgestone portfolios, including Bridgestone, Goodyear, Dunlop, Firestone, Fuzion, Kelly and LeMans. The venture also distributes Toyo-brand products, as well as Goodyear and Kelly commercial tires.
