TIA's Gust among speakers at annual CTDA New Year Luncheon

SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. — It's almost time for California tire dealers to break bread again.

The California Tire Dealers Association (CTDA) New Year Luncheon is scheduled for Jan. 26 at Geezers Restaurant in Santa Fe Springs.

Tire Industry Association (TIA) CEO Dick Gust and Steve Swanson, national sales manager for Carlstar Group P.L.C. and a Select Committee member of the SEMA Wheel & Tire Council, will speak at the event.

The event is open to the industry and is complimentary to tire and wheel retailers.

Newly elected CTDA President Chris Barry of Independent Tire Dealer Group (ITDG) once again will be the emcee.

"As I begin my term, I look forward to seeing old friends and new at the ninth edition of our luncheon," Barry said. "Serving as CTDA president will be an honor."

Event host Billy Eordekian of 1-800EveryRim OEM Wheels noted that Roy Littlefield, who retired in 2022 as TIA CEO, appeared at the luncheon last year.

CTDA is still accepting sponsorships, door prizes and table favors.
