BOWIE, Md. — Nominations are open for the Tire Industry Association (TIA) board positions opening this fall.
The trade group said newly elected board members will serve three-year terms starting Nov. 1.
Those seeking a board seat must have been employed by a TIA member company in good standing for two consecutive years prior to election.
Potential board members must represent a tire dealer, manufacturer, wholesale distributor, supplier, recycler or retreader, TIA said.
Any TIA member in good standing or "official representative of an industry association" can recommend candidates. TIA also accepts self-nominations.
Winners can seek re-election for two additional three-year terms, the association said.
New board members will be installed during TIA's annual membership meeting Nov. 1 in Las Vegas prior to the start of the Global Tire Expo and SEMA Show.
