LAS VEGAS — The Tire Industry Association (TIA) will host SEMA Show pre-show events at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas strip for a second straight year.
TIA's pre-show events, including the annual membership meeting and cocktail reception, will be held Nov. 4, the day before the SEMA Show opens. TIA said the events "offer invaluable networking opportunities and insights into the latest TIA developments."
TIA said the group will not hold a Hall of Fame and industry awards ceremony this year. The ceremony is scheduled to be held every other year, beginning in 2025.
The pre-show events are free, though tickets must be reserved in advance. To book a room in TIA's room block, or to secure a ticket for the events, call 866-611-8831 (reservation specialists are available Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. EST) or book online.
Room block reservations must be made by Sept. 23. The TIA room block rates, not including a daily $45.95 resort fee, are:
- Saturday, Nov. 2: $215
- Sunday, Nov. 3: $94
- Monday, Nov. 4 – Friday, Nov. 8: $214.
The Global Tire Expo (GTE) will be held during the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, scheduled for Nov. 5 to Nov. 8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
