BOWIE, Md. — The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is accepting nominations for four positions on the TIA board of directors.
The positions will become available in November.
Newly elected board members serve three-year terms, and can be re-elected to two additional terms. According to TIA, the positions offer a platform for leaders dedicated to advancing the tire industry's standards and innovations.
In order to be eligible for nomination, candidates must be:
- Employed by a TIA member company;
- A member in good standing for two consecutive years prior to the election; and
- Represent a tire dealer, manufacturer, wholesale distributor, supplier, recycler or retreader.
Candidates may submit nominations, including self-nominations, demonstrating their commitment to driving positive change within the industry. Deadline for nominations is May 13 at 5 p.m. EST.
Newly elected board members will be recognized at the TIA annual membership meeting, scheduled for Nov. 4 in Las Vegas, preceding the Global Tire Expo/SEMA Show.
