MIAMI — Tire Group International L.L.C. (TGI) is adding a trio of "super regional" commercial tires to its Cosmo brand portfolio, blending the durability of a long-haul tire with the casing strength of a regional tire.

The products, CT575+, CT578+ and CT778+, come with a five-year casing warranty and a minimum two retread warranty along with the industry standard limited warranty. The tires are available for immediate order.

The CT575+ and CT578+ are all-wheel position tires with five-rib tread designs, featuring four wide straight grooves designed to deliver "excellent" handling and stability, while offering "effective" water evacuation and braking performance in wet and dry conditions, according to TGI.

Both have tread designs engineered to distribute pressure evenly and reduce the risk of irregular wear.

The CT575+ is available in one low-profile size, 255/70R22.5, while the CT578+ comes in six sizes: four 22.5-inch rim diameter and two 24.5-inch sizes.

The CT778+ is a drive-wheel-position tire with three rows of tread blocks and a closed shoulder tread that TGI said provides even wear and superior traction and stability. It's available in four 22.5-inch rim diameter and two 24.5-inch sizes.

According to TGI, the Cosmo truck tires feature enhanced sidewalls with large letters identifying Cosmo and the model names in UHP fashion, "giving the tires a visual appeal that makes them stand out," TGI said.

Cosmo has embedded its trademark tiger head, paw print and claw mark onto the tread area.

The tires are produced in Thailand by Deestone Ltd.'s SiamTruck Radial Co. Ltd. unit, according to the tires' DOT codes.

TGI President Joaquin Gonzalez said the brand's commercial offering includes a dozen lines and more than 40 SKUs.

"These innovative and exclusive patterns will be a great complement to our lineup," Mr. Gonzalez said, noting that Cosmo released three models to its passenger and light-truck lineups in late April. "We're on a mission to provide our dealers with high quality, value driven products that will set them and us apart from the competition."

    Pricing information was not disclosed.

The Cosmo brand, which debuted in 1994, expanded its product offering in 2017 with a second-generation passenger, light truck and truck/bus radial lineup that now includes more than 250 SKUs.
