PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — TBC Corp. has begun moving its corporate staff into a new headquarters building built just yards from the building it has occupied since 2004.
The new building, a four-story, 61,000-sq.-ft. strukcture known as TBC South, will allow TBC to bring together all of its various department staff — including those housed in a separate building in Juno Beach, Fla. — to the same "campus" in Palm Beach Gardens. It comes one year after the company opened a 5,830-sq.-ft. training center nearby.
"The new building and the move with all Florida corporate associates on the same campus will further enhance our workplace environment that promotes, supports and facilitates teamwork that has been a focus of ours for many years now," TBC President and CEO Erik Olsen said.
"When it is safe to do so, it will be great to have all Florida corporate team members on the same campus. We're confident that it will assist us in continuing to provide superior service, quality products and innovation that exceeds the expectations of our customers, associates, franchisees, supplier partners and shareholders."
TBC said it expects having all of its corporate staff on one campus will enhance their productivity and collaboration. In 2019, TBC Corp. was named one of the 50 "most engaged" workplaces in North America by Achievers Employee Success Platform, which an honors employers that display leadership and innovation in engaging their workplaces.
Once the consolidation is completed, TBC will have over 800 employees on its headquarters campus.
