TBC Brands expands Pennsylvania distribution warehouse

CARLISLE, Pa. — TBC Corp. has completed an expansion of its TBC Brands' regional distribution center in Carlisle.

The 208,000-sq.-ft. addition expands the facility to over 700,000 square feet, sufficient to hold approximately 175,000 additional tires to serve local dealers better and increase growth across all tire segments, the Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based distributor said.

"Through additional storage space and optimized operations such as cross-docking, TBC Brands will continue to provide best-in-class supply chain services and increased access to full and less-than-truckload inbound and outbound shipments," the company said.

Construction of the retrofit began in June and was completed recently. Costs were not disclosed. TBC Brands operates four warehouses throughout the U.S.
