PHOENIX — Sun Auto Tire & Service Inc. has acquired another dealership and expanded its reach to an 18th state.

The Phoenix-based dealership acquired Good Neighbor Tire & Auto Service, a full-service tire and automotive repair brand with two locations each in Washington state and Oregon.

The locations in Oregon — in Portland and Beaverton — are Sun Auto's first there. Good Neighbor's Seattle and Renton, Wash., stores give Sun Auto a total of 16 locations in the state.

Combined, Good Neighbor's four stores have 29 bays.

We look forward to working with the skilled, trusted team at Good Neighbor and upholding the quality service they are known for among their customers and within their communities."

A month ago, Sun Auto acquired Superior Tire, with four stores in northwest Arizona, Sun Auto's first in the Arizona-California-Nevada tri-state area.

Sun Auto has grown to 367 stores in 18 states and promises more acquisitions in the months to come.

"Sun Auto Tire & Service shares many traits that Good Neighbor is known for," Good Neighbor Store Manager Brett Baumgarte said.
