Sun Auto opens stores in Nevada, California

PHOENIX — Sun Auto Tire & Service Inc. is expanding the Sun Auto Service and Goodguys Tire & Auto brands with store openings in Las Vegas and Visalia, Calif.

Sun Auto Service #2060 opened July 15 on West Cactus Avenue in south Las Vegas. It is the 11th Sun Auto location in the Las Vegas area and has 14 service bays and seven employees.

Goodguys Tire & Auto #3213, in West Cameron Aveneu in south Visalia, will open Aug. 15. It will be the second Goodguys location in Visalia and the 10th in the greater Fresno, Calif., area. The store has eight bays and six employees.

Both new locations are greenfield constructions.

The openings expand Sun Auto's network of retail stores to over 370 locations in 18 states.

"Both Sun Auto Service and Goodguys have established themselves as quality service providers for the Las Vegas and Visalia communities," Chris Garman, vice president of business development, Sun Auto Tire, said.

"Our family of brands is expanding organically and through acquisitions, and we are proud to provide the resources they need to continue building this momentum."

Sun Auto acquired 14 brands in various states over the past two years, with plans for additional growth through the remainder of the year, the company said.

Sun Auto operates more than 370 locations in 18 states. It acquired Fresno-based Goodguys Tires in April 2021.
