BOWIE, Md. — A few openings remain for an upcoming Retail Tire Store Leadership class beginning in July and organized by the Tire Industry Association (TIA) and MOHR Retail.
The virtual program, starting July 13, helps store managers develop relationship and leadership skills "needed to retain, engage and enhance their teams' productivity and deliver exceptional performance and customer service," TIA said.
Classes will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and Thursdays through Aug. 5 for a total of eight sessions. Completion certificates are awarded. The cost is $750, and the class is limited to 16 people, TIA said.
Glen Nicholson, who has experience as a technician, store manager, district manager and senior director of retailing for TBC Corp., will teach the class for MOHR Retail, a training company.
Additional sessions are scheduled for September and November.
Registration is available at tireindustry.org. Contact Christine Hoogenboom, TIA director of training, at [email protected], for questions.
Questions about the course can be directed to Mr. Nicholson at [email protected] or 561-951-6834.
