COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — South Korean off-the-road (OTR) and commercial tire producer Hung-A Co. Ltd. has renamed its U.S. sales company Tiron Tires and Wheels USA Inc.
The U.S. sales company, located in College Park, a suburb of Atlanta, previously was doing business as Hung-A USA.
The company said the name change was done to better establish its Tiron brand in the U.S. original equipment market.
"We aim to have a nationwide supply chain in North America providing services to OE customers centering on the existing Atlanta warehouse and promoting warehouses in the western and central North America in the future," the company said in a statement.
Hung-A opened its Atlanta office and warehouse in 2016, in order to shore up its supply line of tractor tires for OEM customers in the U.S.
