BURTON, Mich. — Shrader Tire & Oil has relocated its commercial tire location in Flint, Mich., to a larger facility in nearby Burton.
The new fleet store opened Dec. 20 at an existing commercial location on Davison Road in Burton, a community of about 30,000 located just east of Flint, with access to I-69.
"We will continue to offer customers the same great truck tire sales and service, light mechanical work and 24-hour emergency road service in Flint and the surrounding area. Our new location offers opportunities to serve even more customers," Shrader Tire President and CEO Joe Shrader said.
Shrader Tire said it has been serving the Flint market since 2016 and is part of the Michelin Commercial Services Network. Jacob Kinney will continue as the fleet store manager.
Toledo, Ohio-based Shrader Tire has 14 fleet service locations in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana; four bulk oil operations; and two tire retread manufacturing facilities.
