DIAMOND BAR, Calif. — The SEMA Wheel & Tire Council (WTC) is organizing a virtual happy hour for Feb. 2 to provide a platform for wheel and tire professionals to connect and hear advice from a recognized custom wheel industry marketing executive.
The event, set for 7 p.m. EST, will feature comments from Brad Fanshaw, who is credited with craftng a go-to marketing strategy for custom wheels as president and COO of Boyd Coddington Wheels and Hot Rods by Boyd L.L.C.
Among the topics Fanshaw is expected to address are:
• The role of cross promotion and endorsements in growing a wheel brand.
• Tips on staying relevant in a changing marketplace.
• Integrating media with your core business.
• Innovating field marketing for aftermarket wheels while running Boyd Wheels.
Fanshaw today owns bonspeed wheels and is a co-host of the Shift and Street podcast.
Attendees can compete in a trivia challenge for a chance to win bragging rights and prizes. The WTC has set up a dedicated web page for registration.
