DIAMOND BAR, Calif. — The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) has organized a schedule of over 30 professional development seminars and unscripted conversations with industry leaders it plans to share online under its SEMA360 Education program that's taking the place of the 2020 SEMA Show.

Each session will be available via SEMA360.com, the dedicated web site set up for the online event, which will run Nov. 2-6. Attendees who register with SEMA360 will be able to sign up for an unlimited number of seminars at no additional cost, SEMA said.

"While circumstances have refrained us from meeting in person this year, SEMA remains committed to helping our industry members succeed and prosper," Gary Vigil, SEMA senior manager of professional development, said.

"Each educational session in SEMA360 was carefully crafted to help attendees make smarter business decisions and offers the exciting opportunity to hear stories and advice from a diverse collection of highly successful, entrepreneurial leaders."

The program includes sessions on online marketing and business management, vehicle accessorization, aftermarket trends and research, advanced vehicle technology and more, SEMA said. Each session is designed to help businesses succeed and automotive aftermarket professionals advance their careers.

Among the sessions on the agenda are six 15-minute unscripted conversations with industry leaders organized with the SEMA's Wheel & Tire Council under the "Stage" format that the WTC debuted at the 2019 SEMA Show.

SEMA has as yet not named speakers for the sessions.

" … our members are looking for new and effective ways to come together and build on their industry knowledge and create long-lasting business relationships," Mr. Vigil said. "SEMA360 Education will open new doors to those who are looking to enhance their expertise and get more involved in the industry."

The SEMA360 schedule is in addition to Global Tire Expo events the Tire Industry Association is planning to broadcast via Zoom, including the annual membership meeting, Tire Industry Honors and educational sessions.
