DIAMOND BAR, Calif. — The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) is planning a webinar on March 15 on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology and its relevance to the automotive aftermarket industry.
ADAS technology affects virtually every part of a new vehicle, SEMA said, so aftermarket product developers, engineers and programmers need to understand the technology and learn to service ADAS-equipped vehicles properly.
Presented by the SEMA Emerging Trends and Technology Network (ETTN), the webinar will cover:
- The history behind ADAS technology;
- What the systems are, what they do and why they are important;
- Aftermarket product development around new technology; and
- SEMA's current research on this topic.
Presenters Luis Morales, mechanical engineer at SEMA Garage, and Scott Brown, founder of Diagnostic Network, will answer questions live during the webinar.
The webinar is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. EST. To register, click here.
