SPEEDWAY, Ind. — Performance Racing Industry (PRI), a Specialty Equipment Market Association unit, is moving its headquarters to Speedway, the Indianapolis suburb that's home of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS).
Moving the headquarters to Speedway solidifies PRI's commitment to motorsports and Indianapolis, the site of the organization's annual PRI Trade Show, the trade group said.
Located within walking distance of the IMS, the new 42,500-sq.ft. membership headquarters will offer a broad range of programs and services to assist the motorsports community. The office is expected to open in May, in time for the 106th running of the Indianapolis 500 IndyCar race.
"Indianapolis is the epicenter of motorsports in America and the world, and we are excited to work alongside our Indianapolis neighbors and racing industry icons, and be at the forefront of the racing community," PRI President Jamie Meyer said.
"PRI Membership is a groundbreaking program that unites the industry and creates a collective voice for the motorsports community to address any challenges and needs."
