BOWIE, Md. — The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has selected Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino to be the host hotel for TIA events at the 2023 Global Tire Expo (GTE)/SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
TIA will hold its annual membership meeting, advisory council meeting, cocktail reception and tire industry honors awards ceremony at the hotel on Oct. 30, prior to the opening of the 2023 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, which is scheduled to run Oct. 31-Nov. 3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
These pre-show events are free but do require a reserved ticket.
In addition, TIA will host a TIA Government Affairs Benefit at TopGolf of Las Vegas at 2-4 p.m. on Oct. 29. The event will cost $150 per golfer or $900 for a private bay of six golfers, TIA said.

TIA has negotiated special prices at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino:
- Oct. 28: $219 per night;
- Oct. 29-Nov. 2: $199 per night;
- Nov. 3: $229 per night.
The room rates do not include a daily resort fee of $45 per day plus tax, which will be collected upon check-in.
