DARTMOUTH, Nova Sciotia — Industry veterans Michael Coggins and Brent MacNeil have opened an OK Tire store in Dartmouth, the pair's ninth location.
The 5,200-sq.-ft. store will provide everything auto service-related, including services such as oil changes, brakes, steering and suspension and alignments, according to franchisor OK TIre Co.
The store celebrated its grand opening July 16, featuring a barbecue, door prices, giveaways and special offers. OK Tire President and CEO Jim Bethune attended the event.
OK Tire Dartmouth – Portland offers an array of tires, including all-season, summer, all-weather, winter, off-road, run-flat, lawn & garden, ATV/UTV, trailer, golf cart and others. Among the brands it sells are Blackhawk, Bridgestone, Cooper, Gislaved and Toyo.
The store also carries the latest in premium accessories for cars, SUVs and CUVs. It will have 11 employees, servicing 10 bays.

The location, formerly a major discount and tire store, also offers digital inspections and online purchasing and appointment booking.
Coggins and MacNeil have seven locations in Nova Scotia, in Bayers Lake, Dartmouth, Elmsdale, Halifax, Hammonds Plains, New Minas and Sydney River; and two locations in New Brunswick, in Fredericton and Moncton.
