TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. — International tire distributor Omni United (S) Pte. Ltd. has enhanced the warranty program for its Radar brand, offering consumers additional treadwear and road-hazard coverage.
In addition, the company has introduced a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on select tires: If a consumer is not satisfied with his or her purchase of a set of four new Radar tires, the consumer may exchange them for a set new tires, of equal or lesser value, within 30 days (terms and conditions apply).
The new program, called Radar Protect, became effective Oct. 1 in the U.S. and Canada.
GS Sareen, founder and CEO of Omni United, said the company has been investing in the Radar brand over the last few year.
"This new warranty program is another step in that direction as we want to offer our distributors and retailers an enhanced and more compelling offering in our segment," Mr. Sareen said.
The Radar Protect Program includes:
- Workmanship and material limited warranty: All Radar ranges are covered and provide protection from defects in workmanship and manufacturing.
- Treadwear: Select Radar tires have a mileage warranty to offer protection from premature treadwear.
- Road hazard: Most Radar tires are covered with a road-hazard warranty, protecting consumers in the event of non-repairable damage to the tires.
- 30-day satisfaction guarantee: On select tires, if a consumer is not fully satisfied with his new set of Radar Tires, he or she may return them to the authorized Radar retailer from where they were bought within 30 days from the date of purchase or within the first 2/32nds of an inch (1.6 mm) of treadwear, whichever comes first. The tires will replaced with a new set of Radar brand tires.
Some popular ranges included under the treadwear mileage and road hazard warranty include the Renegade RT/R/T+ and Renegade H/T. The 30-day satisfaction guarantee will be applicable to the new Dimax E Collection (E-Sport & E-Touring).
