EDMONTON, Alberta — Wholesale distributor North Country Tire (NCT) has opened a 50,000-sq.-ft. warehouse in Winnipeg, Manitoba, which the company said demonstrates its commitment to customers in the western provinces.
The distribution center began operations on July 1.
Edmonton-based NCT said the timing of the opening will allow customers in Manitoba the change "to evaluate NCT's service in the slower summer months, giving them confidence to rely on consistent deliveries as the industry moves into the winter rush."
The company said customers may try them now before their busy part of the years.
"We want to earn their trust and demonstrate that we've got their back when it's the experience of their customer on the line." NCT Vice President Jared Powell-Williams said.
NCT, founded in 2015 by Cory and Chad Davis, now has warehouses in Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta; and Kelowna and Langley, British Colombia, in addition to the new location in Winnipeg.
According to NCT 's Cory Davis, "customer experience drives decision making in our family business, it always has. I personally invite local shops to try us out and experience our tires simplified approach firsthand."
