New FRAM filters designed for synthetic oils

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. — TRICO Group has introduced the FRAM Titanium and FRAM Force synthetic oil filters.

The oil filters are full vehicle coverage programs and currently available at Advance Auto stores.

The FRAM Titanium is a super premium, high-flow synthetic oil filter engineered to provide protection for up to 20,000 miles, the company said.

The filter features FRAM PowerFlow technology that allows for higher directional oil flow to ensure full media performance and filtration and the FRAM Perfect Seal gasket that ensures a lasting seal in high-heat and high-pressure engine environments, the company said.

The FRAM Force is a premium, synthetic-blended oil filter engineered to provide extended oil protection for up to 15,000 miles in various driving conditions: stop/go traffic, extreme temperatures, hauling and towing.

In addition to offering increased dirt-trapping and dirt-holding capacity, the FRAM Force filter accommodates all oil types, installs easily and provides consistent oil flow in extreme temperatures, the company said.

"Titanium and Force reflect the rapid changes in oil technology and reflect exactly what motorists demand," said Kevin O'Dowd, senior vice president of global marketing at TRICO Group.

"With over 70% of vehicles using synthetic or synthetic blend oil, these higher tech oils require and equally higher tech oil filter."
