QINGDAO, China — Qingdao Nama Industrial Co. Ltd. is broadening its Maxxploit tire line with the launch this summer of the Maxxploit X/T, a "multi-terrain" tire that Nama claims offers the performance characteristics of traditional M/T and A/T tires combined in one product.
The Qingdao-based contract manufacturer said the new product features a distinctive tread pattern with "strong 3D shapes," a reinforced casing construction for rigidity and a wider tread face for enhanced off-road capability without on-road compromise.
The tire features a dual sidewall design, with one side featuring an Eagle design for freedom and power.
Nama plans to offer the X/T in the U.S. and Canada initially in 22 sizes covering 18- to 24-inch rim diameters, with additional sizes in preparation. Pricing was not disclosed.
The company said it has secured production for the new line in Europe from an unidentified manufacturing partner to complement supply from China.
The new line will complement the Maxxploit M/T mud-terrain and R/T rugged-terrain models launched in North America in 2020.
