Mickey Thompson unveils Baja Legend EXP all-terrain tire

STOW, Ohio — Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels brought nearly 60 years of off-road experience into the creation of its newest product for that sector, the Baja Legend EXP All-Terrain tire.

"The new Baja Legend EXP showcases Mickey Thompson's dedication to designing off-road tires that deliver performance and style," Heather Tausch, director of product management, Mickey Thompson, said.

"Its innovative sidewalls coupled with legendary tread design make the new Baja Legend EXP tires a must-have for your truck, Jeep or SUV."

The tire is available in 41 sizes covering 15- to 20-inch rim diameters to fit nearly any off-road, 4x4 or overland vehicle, the company said. The Baja Legend EXP features the company's T4 silica tread compound and lightweight next-generation construction.

"The silica-reinforced compound gives the Baja Legend EXP long-lasting treadlife and exceptional cut and chip resistance, along with excellent wet handling and braking performance," the company said.

"The Baja Legend EXP's tread design is optimized for maximum grip and a smooth, quiet ride. Variable length and depth Sidebiters provide a bold look, off-road traction, and sidewall protection."

The Baja Legend EXP is covered by a 50,000-mile limited treadwear warranty.

Sizing starts at 31x10.5R15LT and runs up to 37x13.50R20LT.
