    The new Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T sizes include: LT265/75R16; LT285/75R16; LT265/65R17; LT265/70R17; LT285/70R17; and LT265/60R18.

    STOW, Ohio — Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.'s Mickey Thompson Tire & Wheels unit has expanded its Baja Boss A/T line, adding 11 sizes to the lineup.

    The new sizes include: LT265/75R16; LT285/75R16; LT265/65R17; LT265/70R17; LT285/70R17; and LT265/60R18.

    The products fit full-size pickup trucks as well as plus-size fitments on vehicles such as the Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, Ford Ranger, Nissan Frontier and Toyota Tacoma pickups.

    The company said the new LT285/60R20, LT285/65R20 and LT285/55R22 sizes provide 34- and 35-inch outside diamter options for leveled pickups with premium 20- and 22-inch rim-diameter OE or aftermarket wheels.

    Mickey Thompson also offers the 35X15.50R24LT and 37X13.50R24LT sizes.

    "New sizes mean more drivers will get to enjoy all the benefits of the Baja Boss A/T tire line," Heather Tausch, director of product management, Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels, said. "Just one drive on these versatile tires and you'll know why we call them our all-terrain prodigy."

    The Baja Bass A/T lineup, covered by a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty, has an aggressive look and smooth performance, according to Mickey Thompson, while its asymmetric tread design reduces noise while increasing off- and on-road traction for pickups and SUVs. It features PowerPly XD 3-Ply construction and blends Extreme Sidebiters with a silica-reinforced tread compound, providing grip, long wear, cut and chip resistance and all-weather performance.

    The tires have the industry's 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake designation for winter traction on sizes 12.50 (315) and narrower.

    Other highlights of the product include:

    • Large surface area tread, for a greater contact area;
    • Sound-deadening ribs for stability and a quiet ride;
    • Shark tooth stone ejectors to reduce debris retention;
    • Shoulder scallops for an additional biting;
    • Deep black embossed sidewall lettering for a bold appearance; and
    • Rim flange protector for wheel protection.
