LAS VEGAS — Maxxis International - USA is offering a 20% discount on Maxxis Victra VR-1 tires to registered competitors in the ChampCar Endurance Series.
Maxxis is a series supporter for ChampCar, which was founded in 2009 as "ChumpCar" with the goal of offering affordable endurance racing to everyone.
ChampCar is a variant of "street stock" style racing, with points assigned to performance-oriented modifactions beyond the car's stock specs. This system is intended to help control the cost required for a team to go racing.
The first race was held at Portland International Raceway in October 2009. ChampCar now offers 48 races across 27 race weekends for the 2021 season.

Last month, Maxxis announced it would offer a 20% discount for drivers who use Victra VR-1 tires to compete in the Team Racing Endurance Challenge (TREC). Maxxis also is offering a 10% discount for all members of the National Auto Sport Association (NASA).
