LAS VEGAS — Maxxis International - USA will continue to support the National Auto Sport Association (NASA), an organization dedicated to promoting racing activities for both aspiring or accomplished racers of high-performance street-driven vehicles.
Formed in 1991, NASA offers several programs for drivers of different skill levels to enjoy a variety of motorsports.
As part of its support, Maxxis will offer a 20% discount for drivers who use Victra VR-1 tires to compete in the Team Racing Endurance Challenge (TREC). The circuit, launched in 2019 by NASA, focuses on offering fun and track time for participants, without requiring a competition license to participate.
Maxxis, the U.S subsidiary of Taiwan tire maker Cheng Shin Rubber Industrial Co. Ltd., also is providing a 10% discount for all NASA members, and it will offer contingency for drivers running Maxxis tires in these series: American Iron Extreme, German Touring Series, Super Touring and Time Trial.
