DANVERS, Mass. — Maxam Tire North America has expanded its OE supply relationship with CNH Industrial North America with a contract covering OTR tires for Case-brand wheel loaders.
The new contract covers the supply of Maxam's MS912 R4 OTR tire in bias-ply fitment, for the Case 621G wheel loader, a 28,159-pound, 172-horsepower all-around wheel loader, assembled at CNH's factory in Fargo, N.D.

The new fitment is in addition to Maxam supply deals in Europe to provide AgriXtra agricultural drive tires for fitment on select New Holland T5, T6, and T7 SWB and LWB tractors and CASE IH Luxxum, Maxxum and Puma tractors.
The MS912 is a heavy-duty R4 bias-ply tire that is designed to maximize traction in soft underfoot conditions, Maxam said, and which is engineered with a self-cleaning tread design and a wear/cut-resistant compound.
Maxam offers the MS912 in five SKUs: 15.5-25; 17.5-25 (12- and 16-ply rated); and 20.5-25 (12- and 16-ply rated).
Neither CNH nor Maxam commented on the reason for a bias-ply fitment instead of a radial, although CNH does offer radial fitments for this vehicle.

"Designed to maximize traction while delivering improved rim pull, fuel savings, and enhanced tire wear, Maxam's OTR tires are engineered with the customer in mind," he added.
The MS912 is manufactured with premium materials and a strict quality insurance process at the Phuoc Dong, Vietnam, factory of Maxam's parent company, Sailun Group, the company said.
Regarding the European fitments, Kevin Buckly, OE sales director Europe, said: "The homologation, approval, and commercialization of our radial agricultural tires is a significant step in the evolution of the MAXAM brand as a long-term supplier to CNH Industrial and Agriculture."
Maxam's OE supply relationship with Case IH now includes 27 sizes of the AgriXtra in the 85, 70, 65 and XL series, covering 24- to 42-inch rim diameters.
All Maxam radial agricultural tires are backed by an eight-year tire warranty.
