DANVERS, Mass. — Maxam North America is adding a multipurpose radial, the MS910R, to its portfolio of tires for compact equipment such as telehandlers, wheel loaders, etc., and re-launching the MS708 solid off-the-road tire for the waste and recycling industries.
The MS910R features an all-steel radial construction for maximum durability, stability and improved traction, along with a self-cleaning tread design to help prevent dirt and mud buildup in the lugs, thus ensuring maximum grip.
It's also engineered to minimize vibration for improved ride comfort.
Maxam offers the MS901R in separate versions for construction, industrial and multi-purpose applications in a number of sizes covering 18-, 20- and 24-inch rim diameters.
Taking advantage of capacity available at parent company Sailun Group's new plant in Vietnam, Maxam has re-engineered the MS708 solid tire to handle the demanding operating conditions prevalent in the waste and scrap-metal industries, Maxam said.
The MS708 features a tread that transitions through four distinct patterns as the tire wears down, Maxam said, starting at a 50% rubber/void ratio and ending in a standard L5 pattern for extended life.
The features an all-rubber three-stage construction with 65-durometer rubber in the center, providing maximum heat- and cut-resistance along with superior ride comfort, Maxam said, and has a four radial bead base for additional tensile strength.
Designed with patented Double-D apertures that reduce stress cracking and absorb shocks, the MS708 provides the comfort operators need while delivering maximum productivity.
The MS708 mounts on standard multi-piece earth mover rims for wheeled loaders operating in the most severe waste, recycling, foundry and demolition applications.
