OKLAHOMA CITY — Love's Travel Stops opened nine travel stops in recent weeks in nine states, three of which are scheduled to have Speedco truck maintenance services operating on site in early 2022.
The new locations — in Heflin, Ala.; Leavenworth, Ind.; Pacific Junction, Iowa; Great Falls, Montana; Drayton, N.D.; Klamath Falls, Ore.; Kimball, S.D.; Dalhart, Texas; and Fillmore, Utah — expand the network of Love's Travel Stops in operation across the country to over 570, including more than 420 that have Speedco or Love's Truck Care services on site.
Love's Travel Stops is making donations of $2,000 each to nonprofits in each community where it opened a business.
The Heflin, Fillmore and Leavenworth locations will add Speedco services on-site in the new year, Love's Travel said.
Combined, the new sites provide 470 jobs and over 660 truck parking spaces.
Love's does not comment on its investment to build and open new travel stops.
The company disclosed plans in January to open as many as 50 travel stops in 2021, including more than 30 with Love's Truck Care or Speedco preventive maintenance and tire services on site.
Love's carries eight brands of tires at its Love's Truck Care and Speedco outlets: BFGoodrich, Bridgestone, Continental, Double Coin, Goodyear, Hankook, Michelin and Yokohama, along with Love's own Oliver Rubber system retreads.
