OKLAHOMA CITY — Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores opened five travel stops in five states recently, including four with Speedco truck maintenance and tire services on site.
The openings push the size of Love's network of Travel Stops to nearly 550 locations in 41 states, including over 400 with Speedco or Love's Truck Care services on site through over 1,500 service bays.
The new travel stops with Speedco services on site are in:
- Hamilton, Ala., along I-78 at the State Route 35 exit between Birmingham, Ala., and Tupelo, Miss.;
- Papillion, Neb., along I-80 at the State Route 50 exit just southwest of Omaha;
- Winnemucca, Nev., along I-80 at the State Route 289 exit; and
- James Town, Wyo., along I-80.
The fifth stop is near St. Charles, Minn. All locations are open 24/7.
"Opening four locations in one day is no small feat, but our store and corporate team members stepped up to the challenge," Love's co-CEO Greg Love said.
"We're excited to join the James Town, St. Charles, Hamilton and Papillion communities and offer professional drivers and four-wheel customers more safe, clean and well-maintained travel stops."
To mark the openings, Love's is donating $2,000 each to local interests: St. Hamilton High School; Tri-City Food Pantry in Papillion; Grass Valley Elementary School in Winnemucca; Scott's Bottom Area Nature Park in James Town; and St. Charles Area Community Foundation.
The new locations are part of the firm's plan to open as many as 50 travel stops in 2021, including more than 30 with Love's Truck Care or Speedco preventive maintenance and tire services on site.
