OKLAHOMA CITY — Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores opened Speedco truck service locations in recent weeks at Love's stores in Arkansas, Pennsylvania and New York. The company has opened 15 new Speedco sites so far in 2022.
The new locations, in Clarksville, Ark., Brookville, Pa., and Ripley, N.Y., expand the number of Love's Travel Stops that offer tire and mechanical services to over 430 nationwide, out of 590-plus Love's truck stops overall.
The Speedco and Love's Truck Care locations offer tire, lube and light mechanical services, as well as DOT inspections. Most of the sites are open 24/7.
Since acquiring Speedco in 2017, Love's has added more than 95 Speedco-branded locations to its network. The total is nearly triple the number that existed in 2017 when Bridgestone Americas Inc. sold Speedco to Love's.
"Love's knows that trucks are professional drivers livelihoods, and we remain committed to getting customers back on the road quickly and safely," Gary Price, executive vice president of total truck solutions for Love's, said.
The new Speedco service centers are located adjacent to existing Love's Travel Stops.
- In Clarksville at a new intersection on I-40 in central Arkansas;
- in Brookville, along I-80 in western central Pennsylvania; and
- in Ripley, along I-90 between Erie, Pa., and Buffalo.
Love's typically does not disclose its investments in new facilities.
The combined Love's Truck Care/Speedco network offers over 1,500 service bays and 1,200 emergency roadside vehicles.
The Oklahoma City-based company carries seven brands of tires at its Love's Truck Care and Speedco outlets: Bridgestone, Continental, Double Coin, Goodyear, Hankook, Michelin and Yokohama, along with retreads produced in-house by Love's own Oliver Rubber system retread network.
