BEND, Ore. — Les Schwab Tire Centers is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2022 by giving customers a chance to win $700.
"A singular focus on service has characterized Les Schwab for the past 70 years," John Robertson, Les Schwab's president of store operations, said.
"As we reflect on all we have built together, we are honored to continue our decades-long legacy of high-quality service for years to come."
To mark the milestone, Les Schwab will award 70 customers throughout the year with $700 prize certificates.
The company began in 1952 as a small shop in Prineville, Ore., "and quickly built a reputation for putting customers first and emphasizing service and safety," Les Schwab said.
That first store brought in $2,800 in its first month. Les Schwab now employs more than 7,000 people and "delivers world-class customer service and commitment to community to its customers at more than 500 locations across 10 states," the company said, noting that it offers tires, brake services, alignment, shocks and more "all so you can stop and steer when it matters most."
