BROOMFIELD, Colo. — Leeds West Groups (LWG) expanded to 22 retail locations in Colorado with the acquisition of a Big O Tires store in the Denver suburb of Broomfield.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition closed on May 9.
The acquisition, from Lee Canady and Canady's Tire Corp., marks LWG's seventh in Colorado in the last 12 months and grows the Greenwood Village, Colo.-based company's network of Big O stores to 35.
Canady operated the six-bay Big O store for the past 23 years, according to his LinkedIn page.
His reasons for selling were not disclosed.
Broomfield is a city of 67,000 residents located about 20 miles northwest of downtown Denver.
Overall LWG operates 118 retail tire and auto service outlets in 18 states under three brands: Big O Tires, Midas and SpeeDee Oil. LWG's 35 stores makes it the largest Big O franchisee nationwide.
CEO Judd Shader founded LWG in 2009. The firm is funded by Family Office funds.
