WASHINGTON, D.C. — Vehicle suspension components maker KYB Americas Corp. has joined more than 90 companies and organizations in participating in the U.S. Department of Energy's Better Climate Challenge.
The companies — including Ford Motor Co.; Volvo Group North America; Nissan North America; and Toyota Motor North America Inc. — have agreed to reduce their carbon emissions by 50% by 2030.
According to KYB, the national public-private partnership asks organizations to set bold, portfolio-wide greenhouse gas reduction targets and share their solutions and best practices with partners and across industries.
