Kadex Aero Supply to handle Goodyear aviation tires in Canada

PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Goodyear has added Kadex Aero Supply Ltd. of Peterborough as a distributor of its aviation tires in Canada, expanding its reach there.

Kadex is a family-owned and -operated aircraft parts and service distributor with locations in Calgary, Alberta, and Peterborough. The Kadex partnership is not exclusive; Goodyear will still work with its existing Canadian distributors.

"We are pleased to appoint Kadex as our newest distributor," David Barnette, general manager, Global and Americas Aviation for Goodyear, said.

"We are looking forward to growing with them in Canada."

Goodyear did not identify any other distributors in Canada.

Kadex, which was founded in 1994, distributes parts from more than 50 manufacturers. It also offers repair and overhaul services.

"Kadex is proud to be a Goodyear distributor," added Jordan Lavery, Director of Business Development at Kadex Aero Supply.

"We are very excited to support the Canadian market with tires that will be readily available on the shelf at our locations."

Kadex also handles Air Hawk, Aero Classic, Dunlop, Michelin and Specialty Tire brands, along with "Monster" retreads.
