PAYSON, Utah — Josh Hamilton, a Big O Tires franchisee since 2018, has opened his fourth Big O store in Utah, an 11-bay greenfield facility in Payson, a community of 15,000-plus residents in central Utah.
The new store in Payson complements Hamilton's existing Big O stores in Nephi, Santaquin and Spanish Fork. Payson is located between Spanish Fork and Santaquin, while Nephi is 20 miles further south of Stantaquin. All four communities are along I-15 south of Provo.
The store features the franchise group's new dark grey/light grey stone exterior format.
Hamilton said he's planning a grand-opening event at the new store Aug. 10-13, with free tire rotations and balancing on offer as well as other specials.
Hamilton said he operates his business on a philosophy of caring and delivering on Big O's "legendary" service.
"Customer service is of the utmost importance," Hamilton said. "Where most service shops are driven strictly by profit, we want to be known as a good employer which offers great customer service because we know the rest will follow."
The opening of the Payson store expands Big O's presence in the Bee Hive State to 48 locations.
There are over 465 Big O Tires locations in the U.S., predominantly in the Western and Midwest states.
